Uninvited Guests at a Wedding is an Indian-designed bluffing card game for 2 to 8 players, set at a big Indian wedding that you and your friends have crashed. You try to clear away the photo evidence that shows you while working out who everyone else is, and a wrong accusation knocks you out of the round. Games take 20 to 30 minutes and store listings say 14+, so it suits older cousins, college friends and party nights more than young children.
Is Uninvited Guests at a Wedding right for your table?
A good pick for
- Cousins and friends during wedding season, when the theme lands instantly
- Groups of up to 8 who enjoy bluffing, blaming and short rounds
- An inexpensive gift, under ₹1,000, with a desi theme that isn't another Bollywood quiz
- Fans of Coup or Love Letter who want something for a bigger group
Skip it if
- Your players are mostly under 12; the game is rated 14+ and leans on reading other people
- Someone in your group hates being knocked out; a wrong guess puts you out for the rest of the round
- You want a deep strategy game; this is a light party game
How Uninvited Guests at a Wedding plays
Everyone plays a guest who slipped into a big Indian wedding without an invitation. Each player secretly holds an identity card, and a grid of evidence cards is laid out on the table: photos of the crashers at the buffet, raiding the chaat counter and piling up their plates.
On your turn you do one of two things. You can clear evidence, taking cards out of the grid, ideally the ones that show you. Or you can accuse another player by naming who you think they are. Guess right and you score points and take their identity card; guess wrong and you are out of the round straight away.
Bluffing is the heart of it. You can play misleading evidence that doesn't show you, to send others down the wrong trail, but those cards count against you at the end. The publisher also mentions spies among the guests who are secretly helping the police, and store listings describe an informant card that is revealed from the fifth round onwards to shake things up.
At the end, points from the evidence you managed to clear decide the winner, so a player knocked out early can still win. Rounds are quick, and the publisher puts a full game at 20 to 30 minutes, with about 5 minutes to teach.
Takes about 5 minutes to teach. The evidence cards are photos of the guests, and the accusing and arguing happen out loud in whatever language your group speaks. The rulebook is in English, and the publisher's product page also links a teaching video in Hindi.
Buying Uninvited Guests at a Wedding in India
This is an Indian game from a Bengaluru publisher, so there is no imported version to compare. Mozaic Games sells it directly at mozaicgames.com for ₹899 (MRP ₹999), and it was in stock there on 5 Oct 2026. It is also sold on Amazon.in. Gameistry in Chennai lists it at ₹999 but was out of stock when checked.
There is one edition so far, Mozaic Games' 2025 card game for 2 to 8 players. It earns the made-in-India tag because it is designed in India: the designer, Phalgun Polepalli, co-founded the Bengaluru publisher. The listings we checked don't say where the cards are printed. Mozaic has announced a separate follow-up, Uninvited Dancers at an Indian Wedding, set at the pre-wedding DJ party and due on Kickstarter in November. Prices on 5 October 2026: ₹899 on the publisher's own store and ₹999 at Gameistry; it is also sold on Amazon.in.
How to make sure you get a genuine copy
Clone risk: Low- The box should say Mozaic Games; listings may use the company's earlier name, DICE Toy Labs.
- Expect to pay about ₹900 to ₹1,000 (MRP ₹999).
- The front of the box shows a group of guests at a wedding buffet under the title. The publisher lists 2-8 players and 20-30 minutes, so a box claiming very different numbers is probably something else.
- On Amazon.in, check that the listing title names DICE Toy Labs or Mozaic Games.
- Don't confuse it with generic wedding or bridal-shower card packs, which are party activities, not this game.
No copies of this game turned up in Amazon.in searches on 5 Oct 2026. Searching the name alone mostly brings up unrelated wedding party cards and invitations, so search with the publisher's name or use the direct link.
